What I Would Have Done Different Today

1. Go to Trader Joe's instead of Best Buy
2. Talk to the lady in Best Buy about digital converter boxes just a few minutes longer
3. Taken Ryan to Petsmart nextdoor to Best Buy
4. Let Ryan sit on my lap in the car for a few minutes
5. Checked my rearview mirror


If I would have done only ONE of these things, I would have not backed into someone's car today. That would have been much better.

Father's Day

Brett is such a wonderful dad and we had a great morning celebrating him... last week! He got to sleep in and Ryan and I made him breakfast. We had double chocolate scones with cinnamon butter and berries and cream. The scones were heavenly! Ryan also decorate a tie for his daddy and we signed him up for a soccer team. one of my favorite things to do is watch Ryan with Brett. Brett can make him laugh like no one else. I feel so lucky to have such sweet, fun and good dad for my kiddos. Later that night we went over to my parents to clelebrate with my dad who is also an awesome example in our lives. i love dads!

Stage Debut

Brett and I got to be in our Stake Musical a few weeks ago. We did "The Savior of the World". It was so much fun to do this together. And I learned that Brett is a really good actor! We have known each other for almost 7 years and I never knew that about him! It was such a great experience to feel the feelings that come when you reenact the Saviors birth and Resurrection.

PS: Brett totally has eyeliner on! He looks cute, huh!

Lover Boy

what a kiss! He seriously held it for about5 seconds! I think we are going to have to keep our eyes on this one!

Strawberry Picking

First we picked them.

Then we took them home.
Then we made this concontion, a "chocolate covered strawberry pancake". It was really good!
* I just made chocolate chip pancakes, blended up the strawberries with some sugar and there you have it!

It's Beach Season!

Now that summer is here we are back at the beach! Ryan is in heaven there. He loves the water and runs right into it and laughs everytime he gets knocked down by a wave. The beach won't be very relaxing this summer, but it will be lots and lots of fun!
