Family Hike

On our way to the waterfall in Eaton Canyon. It was a great hike!
Brett gets the super dad award for carrying Ry on his shoulders most of the 3 hour hike! Ryan was afraid of seeing mariachi bands. I am not even kidding! He saw one at a resturant we went to with my parents a few days before and he is now scarred for life!
Not the most flattering photo of the pregnant lady.

My handsome boys.

Maybe it is because I am the mom, but I thought this was SO cute! I couldn't resist to snap a photo!

Business/Trip

Brett had to stay over night in Thousand Oaks for work. Ryan and I decided to go with him. It was work for him and a fun trip for us.

We went on a pony ride. Ryan is appropriately riding "Chocolate". He loved it and wasn't scared at all!

Ry and I spent one day at the beach. We love it there. Too bad seagulls literally ate ALL of our lunch! They were the craziest seagulls I have ever seen!

We spent another day at this really great little family farm.
We picked delicious strawberries and ate them all in the car!

Rode on wagons. I love this face... I have a few pictures of me as a two year old making this face. It is so funny to see glimpses of yourself in your kid!

Fed animals.
Ryan loved the hotel. We did, too. He especially love the big bath. Our bath at home is little and does not have a drain cover (yet). We put a "squishy ball" in the drain to keep the water in. When Ryan got in this bath he was looking all around and said " Where is the squishy ball?". Poor kid. The best part was not to have to be away from dad overnight! We all slept a whole lot better together!

Secure in His Manhood

Potty taining confession: Ryan still wears pull-ups at night. I will worry about it after he turns 3. I bought him some new " night-time undies" and discovered that I bought the princess ones! Brett was horrified. " How could you do that?," he asked.
" Have you ever gone to Target with a two year old?," was my reply.
And so, now Ry happily wears his princess pull-ups to bed. But, he is still one cool dude!

Pregnancy Diet

Last pregnancy, my doctor put me on a "diet" at about 30 weeks. I was really annoyed at the time, but after I had Ryan, I was really glad I did it. The post baby weight came off so quickly - it was great!
This time around, I decided I would put myself on the same diet. It is a low-carb/low-sugar diet. Today was supposed to be my first day.
I failed miserably.
The culprits:
Dark Chocolate Covered Raisins ( could possible pass as almost healthy)
Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies. Ryan really wanted to make them. How could I say no!
