Baseball Ryan

Ryan played on his first baseball team!  He liked it. He hit like a champ , but  he played outfield like a rugby player.  We will have to work on that. 

Handels

It has become a birthday tradition to go to a local ice cream place called Handels.  It was voted #1 ice cream in the WORLD by national geographic.  I may have to debate that being that there are a few places in New York and San Fran that may give it a run for its money.... but it is the best ice cream in our area.

 In honor of Luke's first year, we got 2 - 4 scoop samplers. That's right - 8 scoops of ice cream!  Let's be honest, Brett and I ate most of it.

The other day, Ryan and I were driving somewhere and he said, " Mommy, for my birthday, could I get a Mater, and a Mac?"  I said, " Your birthday isn't until Demecember, bud.  How about if you eat your vegetables, we can get you those guys?"

Ryan: "Ummm... I think I will just wait for my birthday !" 

This kid is a thinker! 

But, I tried it any way. I have previously mention how picky Ryan is.  he will not touch vegetables!  But this time I put a brand new Mater in front of him as well as a plate of spianch and cheese stuffed chells.  I told him that he could have Mater if he ate this dinner.

It worked! 

 Dinner is going to become expensive at our house!
